Angelite is a soft periwinkle colored stone which was discovered in Peru in 1987, it has since been found in Germany, Great Britain, Mexico, Libya and Poland. It is a form of Anhydrite, a celestite that has been compressed over millions of years. It converts to a form of gypsum when it is immersed in water, so it is encouraged not to wear this stone while swimming or bathing. Angelite is said to help one stay in contact with the spiritual realm and allows one to connect to their higher self.
